Road Delays 

• Construction of the North State Street Bridge Replacement over Ackerman Creek is complete.

• Construction of the Lambert Lane Bridge Replacement over Robinson Creek is suspended for the winter. Construction is anticipated to begin again in June 2026. Check the website for updates.

Future Road Closures

• No planned construction with road closures at this time.

Road Closures

The following roads will be closed until further notice:

• Mill Creek Bridge on Hill Road at MP 2.05, approximately 3.25 miles southeast of the town of Covelo     **Provided below is a map of temporary detour routes.** 

• Low Gap Road at MP 6.75

• Miner Hole Road at MP 0.15 (600 feet from Highway 1)

Mendocino County Department of Transportation will OPEN the gates on the following road segments on Thursday, April 30, 2026, by end of day.

• Fort Bragg / Sherwood Rd.   CR# 419   MP# 5.08 – 27.54
• Ten Mile Rd.   CR# 506   MP# 0.18 – 1.68
• Navarro Ridge Rd.   CR# 518   MP# 8.82 – 13.10
• Usal Rd.    CR# 431   MP# 6.26 – 24.30
