Road Delays 

• Construction of the North State Street Bridge Replacement over Ackerman Creek is complete.

• Construction of the Lambert Lane Bridge Replacement over Robinson Creek is suspended for the winter. Construction is anticipated to begin again in June 2026. Check the website for updates.

Future Road Closures

• No planned construction with road closures at this time.

Road Closures

The following roads will be closed until further notice:

• Low Gap Road, at MP 6.75

• Miner Hole Road at MP 0.15 (600 feet from Highway 1)

Seasonal Road Closures

Mendocino County Department of Transportation will CLOSE & LOCK the gates on the following road segments on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 by end of day.

• Fort Bragg / Sherwood Rd.   CR# 419   MP# 5.08 – 27.54
• Ten Mile Rd.   CR# 506   MP# 0.18 – 1.68
• Navarro Ridge Rd.   CR# 518   MP# 8.82 – 13.10
• Usal Rd.    CR# 431   MP# 6.26 – 24.30 

MCDoT would like to thank all parties that assist in the seasonal closures each winter for helping reduce sediment delivery into our streams and reduce unnecessary wear and tear along with illegal dumping on these road segments.
