Alongside this, the County is also developing its first Environmental Justice Element, which works to ensure every community has fair access to a clean, healthy and safe environment.
  • To this end a virtual workshop is being held on Thursday, June 25 to give the public an opportunity to get involved in both planning efforts. Please join us at this workshop to learn more about these planning efforts and share your insights. •  NEW AVA REPORTING TOOL INFORMATION: If you are still seeing the OLD reporting form for abandoned vehicles it is likely that you have the old webpage cached on your computer or mobile device. To solve this problem, simply REFRESH your browser webpage to see the new link.
  • NEW AVA REPORTING TOOL:  Mendocino County Code Enforcement has a new Abandoned Vehicle reporting tool based on an interactive Geographic Information System (GIS) solution. Using the new interactive tool members of the public will be able to pinpoint the exact location of the abandoned vehicle. The Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Public Web Map has also been updated, which has been designed to provide residents, stakeholders, and the general public with an accessible, map-based view of abandoned vehicle activity within Mendocino County.
  • The Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program allows Mendocino County to locate, remove, and dispose of abandoned, wrecked, dismantled, or inoperative vehicles from County roads. The AVA Program helps keep neighborhoods safe and clean by eliminating public nuisances and safety hazards.

  • Scenic View Survey - Mendocino County is updating its Local Coastal Program (LCP). This is the plan that guides how land along the coast can be used and developed.

You can take the survey by scanning the QR code to the right, or by clicking HERE.
