Animal Care Services Clinic

Due to numerous variables the Clinic at this time is not in a position to accept any more spay & neuter applications nor set any future surgery appointments for animal owners needing a spay or neuter surgery for their pet animals. 

The Clinic has been inundated with many requests from animal owners for spay & neuter surgeries and due to the numerous variables the Clinic can only provide limited spay & neuter services at this time.

Animal Care Services is requesting that citizens check this page for updates.

Animal Care Services Clinic provides the following services to the community dog & cat owners:

* Low cost spay & neuter that is financially assisted through the Spay & Neuter Assistance Program

* Micro-chipping

* Trap, Neuter & Release of Feral Cats assisted by Anderson Valley Animal Rescue

* Vaccinations (DAPP, BORDATELLA, FVRCP, FELV, & Rabies)

* Testing for FELV, FIV, Heartworm for both dogs & cats and Parvo

All owners of dogs spayed or neutered in the Clinic are required to purchase a Mendocino County Dog License for $31.00 if needed.

Please note that the Clinic will not perform spay & neuter surgeries on dogs that are over 5 years of age and/or over 100 pounds in weight. 

Spay & neuter surgeries for dogs fitting the above age & weight descriptions can be risky and you should consult with your primary Veterinarian.
