The Mendocino County Internship Program offers students learning opportunities as an apprentice or trainee in a variety of fields, while enriching public service for Mendocino County. Whether a student is determining a career path, or fulfilling an academic requirement to begin their career, an internship is a great way to receive hands on experience.

How do I apply?

Completed applications should be submitted to the Human Resources Department located at 501 Low Gap Road, Room 1326, Ukiah, CA 95482.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for an internship, the intern must receive academic credit or fulfill an academic requirement of a related program of an approved educational institution (High School, College, University, Work Programs).

What does it pay?

Internships can be paid or unpaid; if paid, salaries vary depending on duties performed.

How long is an internship?

All internships are a minimum of 3 months and maximum of 1 year in length. Interns may work a minimum of 8 hours to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Each internship may vary in length and hours worked.
