CalWORKs Job Services Program provides employment and training services to eligible CalWORKs recipients. Participants receive guidance and support in career assessment, educational development, and life skills training. CalWORKs Job Services supports participant’s employment goals with childcare costs, transportation assistance, and other expenses necessary to participate in their program plan.

CalWORKs Job Services works in collaboration with CareerPoint Mendocino partners and other community partners to provide employment training, one-on-one mentoring and job retention services. CalWORKs Job Services contracts for services with local agencies to provide additional supports with substance misuse and mental health treatment, coordinating closely with local domestic abuse treatment and counseling services providers.
