Welcome to Mendocino County! We are a small in population (~90,000), large in land (~4,000 sq. miles!) rural county located on the North Coast of California. As the gateway to the Pacific Northwest, we are home to redwoods, wineries, festivals, breweries, dispensaries, coastline, hiking, camping, artists, and so much more.
Mendocino County has four cities; Ukiah, Fort Bragg, Willits, and Point Arena; and our unicorporated land is governed by our Board of Supervisors, which we elect on a rotating basis every four years.
You can learn more about our history and structure; how to business with the County; what you might need for modifying your property, selling your produce, or how to start beekeeping; or what's happening around the county on our website, or you can learn more about our tourism industry and the best the County has to offer by visiting some of these other sites.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and we hopt see you again soon!
