Information Services supports the enterprise business applications and data systems that County departments rely on every day. These are the systems that run core County operations, hold and manage information, and provide the data that supports decisions and public services. We maintain, secure, and continually improve these systems so departments can serve the community effectively.
SB 272, signed into law in 2015, requires local agencies to publish a catalog of their enterprise systems. An enterprise system is one used across multiple departments, one that holds information collected about the public, or one that serves as an original source of data within the County.
Systems for emergency services, information security, building access, and mechanical controls are exempt from disclosure. The County reviews and updates this catalog every year, by July 1.
