A healthcare FSA allows you to set aside tax-free money to pay for healthcare expenses you expect to have over the coming year. This program is administered through BCC/mySmartCare. 

The Flexible Spending Program allows you to:

• Save money by using pre-tax dollars for un-reimbursed health and dependent care expenses
• Increase your take home pay
• Save money by setting aside money on a pre-tax basis
• Have funds automatically withdrawn from your bi-weekly paycheck based upon your election amount
